All users of this site agree that access to and use of this site are subject to the following terms and conditions and other applicable law. If you do not agree to these terms and conditions, please do not use this site.  By placing an order with us you agree to these Terms and Conditions.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Jurassic Ammonites is completely dedicated to your total satisfaction. If you have any suggestions, comments or complaints please email us and let us to resolve any issue you may have.

Orders & Payment

Prices quoted are inclusive of UK VAT.

The purchaser is responsible for Local Taxes and Duties on orders sent outside the UK.  This includes all export fees and local import fees and duty.

Online Orders

Orders & Payment can be made by Credit or Debit cards directly from the pages of this site. All payments must be in Pounds Sterling. No payments will be charged on cards until your order is processed.

Secure Payment by Credit Cards

Credit card details are encrypted and kept in a secure encrypted gateway. We do not have access to your personal card information. These details are collected and processed either by Wix or PayPal.

Post, Packing & Delivery

Packing & Delivery is charged on all orders. We send our orders via Royal Mail.  A signature will be required on delivery. The delivery costs may vary dependent on weight, size and destination but the amount to be charged will be shown on the final total before the customer can proceed with the order. In proceeding with the order, it is deemed that the customer agrees with the quoted delivery costs.  By agreeing and placing the order the customer accepts any Royal Mail conditions of carriage and the limits of any compensation that Royal Mail may place on a parcel.  This applies to lost parcels or specimens that are damaged in transit.  Jurassic Ammonites is not responsible for lost parcels or specimens damaged in transit and will not refund purchases or delivery costs in these cases.  We will however assist the customer in claiming any compensation possible from Royal Mail for lost or damaged items but the responsibility for any claim against Royal Mail entirely lies with the customer.

For delivery outside the UK the customer will be responsible for any export or import duties and any local taxes levied.

Returns Policy

We will gladly exchange or refund any fossil provided you return it to us in the condition it was dispatched to you (that is shown in the images on the website) within 14 days of receipt.  Simply send the fossil back to us. Please note that the goods are your responsibility until they reach us therefore, we strongly recommend that you obtain adequate tracking and insurance for your parcel.  On receipt we will refund you the purchase price of the item.  We do not refund either P&P that we charged to send the item to you or the P&P for you to return the item. 

A second Delivery fee will be charged on all fossils returned for exchange. This does not affect your Statutory Rights.

Distance Selling Regulations

If you are a customer in the UK then under the UK Distance Selling Regulations, you have 7 working days (from the day after you receive your goods) to cancel the contract for your order with us.

In this case we will issue you with a full refund for the purchase price (delivery costs are not refunded) however you will need to return the entire order at your own cost.

In all cases, the goods must be returned in an undamaged condition and will be inspected on their return.

If you decide to cancel the contract for your order with Jurassic Ammonites you must let us know in writing (email is fine), quoting your order number, name and address.

Jurassic Ammonites does not represent or warrant that the functions contained in the site will be uninterrupted or error-free, that the defects will be corrected, or that this site or the server that makes the site available are free of viruses or other harmful components. Jurassic Ammonites does not make any warrantees or representations regarding the use of the materials in this site in terms of their correctness, accuracy, adequacy, usefulness, timeliness, reliability or otherwise.

Limitation of Liability

Typographical Errors
In the event that a Jurassic Ammonites product is mistakenly listed at an incorrect price, Jurassic Ammonites reserves the right to refuse or cancel any orders placed for product listed at the incorrect price. Jurassic Ammonites reserves the right to refuse or cancel any such orders whether or not the order has been confirmed and your credit card charged. If your credit card has already been charged for the purchase and your order is cancelled, Jurassic Ammonites shall issue a credit to your credit card account in the amount of the incorrect price.

Term &Termination
These terms and conditions are applicable to you upon your accessing the site and/or completing the registration or shopping process. These terms and conditions, or any part of them, may be terminated by Jurassic Ammonites without notice at any time, for any reason. The provisions relating to Copyrights, Trademark, Disclaimer, Limitation of Liability, Indemnification and Miscellaneous, shall survive any termination.

Notice
Jurassic Ammonites may deliver notice to you by means of e-mail, a general notice on the site, or by other reliable method to the address you have provided to Jurassic Ammonites.

Use of Site
Harassment in any manner or form on the site, including via e-mail, chat, or by use of obscene or abusive language, is strictly forbidden. Impersonation of others, including a Jurassic Ammonites or other licensed employee, host, or representative, as well as other members or visitors on the site is prohibited.
